The MenCare Changemaker Summit, Rio will take place across four days in May 2026. The first three days are being co-curated by Equimundo and WOW.
Summit Schedule
On days one and two the Changemakers will convene for invite-only, solutions-focused workshops and residency-style collaboration. Day three will be a one-day celebratory festival programmed by WOW – Women of the World with local curators, open to the public.
Day four will be curated by Equimundo and Brazilian partners, split into two parts: one to showcase Brazilian excellence, and the other a high-level strategic partner meeting for post-summit insight and reflection.

Changemakers will join Brazilian leaders and global experts in the field for an unmissable one-day festival focused on boys and men.
Changemakers will join Brazilian leaders and global experts in the field for an unmissable one-day festival focused on boys and men.
Programmed by Mencare partner and world-leading arts organisation WOW – Women of the World alongside Equimundo, the festival will take place at major arts venues in the centre of Rio de Janeiro, with members of the public also in attendance.
Changemakers will have the opportunity to meet leading Brazilian experts working across sectors and industries. They’ll immerse themselves in conversation, active workshops, creative thinking, networking, panel events, art, film, activism and performances all dedicated to exploring themes of boys, men and care.
The festival will be a chance to experience WOW’s famous methodology tackling vital and urgent issue through festival programming – a truly inspirational and mind-expanding experience.
